MAX Memories Contest Rules and Regulations

1. The MAX Memories contest commences at 6:00am on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, and runs until 10:00am Friday, September 16, 2021, on Classic Hits Coast 101.1. 
2. Contest is open to all residents of Newfoundland and Labrador age 19 years or older that are within the terrestrial broadcast contour of Coast 101.1 (CKSJ-FM), except for employees of City Stars Holdings (MAX), employees of Coast 101.1 or those employed at Coast 101.1 in the previous two years or members of a current or former employee household, employees of Killick Capital, and the immediate families of the same.
3. How to play: Enter your MAX Memories -- a funny story of something your child has said or done, a proud parent moment, or something related to going back to school emailing  . Bill & Carolyn will call one MAX Memories entry each day, Monday-Friday during the Morning Show from 6:00 am to 10:00 am from September 7th to September 16th. 
4. Prizes: Each daily winner receives a $50 MAX Gift Card to use towards any MAX Programs and is entered to win the Grand Prize the MAX Family of The Year, which includes: 
a. One-Year Registration in After School (Grades K-6) or Pre School (3-5 years) for two children 
b. Two All-Access MAX Fitness Memberships  
c. Two Arts Registrations in either Music, Dance, or Theatre for year (3 sessions each) 
d. Two STEAM Registrations in either Coding, Robotics, or STEAM 101 for year (3 sessions each)
e. Two Christmas Camps and Two Easter Camps 
f. Two Birthday Parties 
g. Total Prize Value: Approximately $17,000
5. If you are a winner, you will be notified with information on which prize you won and how to pick up your prize. Prize must be accepted as awarded, no cash value or prize substitutions. Alternatively, equal value in MAX Gift Cards will be provided and gift cards can be transferred and given to another person or persons to use. Prize is valid for the 2021/22 School Year only, with exception of MAX Fitness Memberships which are annual, September 2021 to September 2022. 
6. This contest includes a series of daily contests (9), which have prizes specific to that mini contest ($50 MAX Gift Card), as well as a grand prize contest (MAX Family of the Year).
7. All decisions relating to this contest are to be made by City Stars Holdings (MAX) and Coast 101.1 and shall be considered final. All entries become the property of City Stars Holdings (MAX) and Coast 101.1 and will not be returned. By entering the contest, a contestant agrees to the use of their and their childrens name, photograph, and video without payment in any forthcoming publicity if they are declared a winner. Said winner then agrees to sign a Winner Release and Waiver form. City Stars Holdings (MAX) reserves the right to discontinue or change this contest at any time.
8. Any information collected is for the exclusive use City Stars Holdings (MAX) and Coast 101.1, for purposes relating to this promotion only. By filling out your contact information, you are giving consent to receive email messages or newsletters from City Stars Holdings (MAX) and Coast 101.1 about its sales and promotions. Coast 101.1 General Contest Rules And Regulations

-Coast 101.1 contests are open to individuals that hold permanent residence in the province of Newfoundland And Labrador and are within the terrestrial broadcast contour of CKSJ-FM.
-Those ineligible are:
-Coast Broadcasting Ltd. employees, persons that reside in the same household as Coast Broadcasting Ltd. employees, and immediate family members of Coast Broadcasting Ltd. employees.
-Coast Prize Sponsors for the contest, sponsor employees, persons that reside in the same household as Coast Prize Sponsor employees, and immediate family members of Coast Prize sponsor employees.
-Individuals that reside outside of the CKSJ-FM terrestrial broadcast contour (ie. Those listening from a geographical distance through internet streaming).
-Those having previously won a prize, and those residing in the same household of a prize winner, in the past 30 days.
-Only one Coast Prize winner per household every 30 days
-Contest participants under the age of 18 may require to have a prize won awarded in the name of a legal guardian.
-For some prizes, a requirement of the participant being 19 or older will be confirmed during the contest play.

Contest Participation:
-Those that choose to participate in a Coast contest will participate in a live or taped to live contest play.
-An eligible contest participant is randomly selected in the method described for that contest.
-Should a be caller # contest be played, the selection of the participant is to be considered a random selection of those that choose to phone.  There is no skill required.
-The participant must personally place the phone call, proxy will not be accepted and any misrepresentation will violate the participants eligibility.
-On fulfilling the eligibility requirements, the Coast Contest participant will be awarded the prize

-All prizes are issued in the participants name and are required to be claimed in person at the Coast 101.1 offices within 30 days of winning.
-All prizes must be claimed in person at the offices of Coast 101.1 with proper identification to confirm contest eligibility.  Upon confirmation of eligibility, the prize will be presented to the winner.
-To ensure proper identification of winners, we are unable to mail prizes.
-Prizes not claimed within 30 days are to be considered forfeited by the prize winner.
-Those found ineligible after the fact while claiming a prize in person may not receive their prize.

Other Items:
-Coast Contest participants agree to the following:
-An understanding that they are participating in a radio contest which will involve their verbal responses broadcast over public airwaves
-Their name, general area of residence, voice (recorded or live), and likeness may be used by Coast Broadcasting Ltd and Coast Contest Sponsors in promotional material surrounding the contest
-All prizes are to be accepted as awarded and are not transferable without the express permission of Coast Broadcasting Ltd and/or Coast Contest Sponsors
-Coast Broadcasting Ltd is not responsible for technical errors during the execution of a Coast Contest
-Any restitution due to a technical error is at the sole discretion of Coast Broadcasting Ltd and Coast Contest Sponsors

All schools in the Newfoundland and Labrador School District will be closed on Thursday (September 30th) for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Learys Brook Junior Highs annual Terry Fox walk this afternoon (September 24th). Students are asked to bring in $1 on Friday to donate to The Terry Fox Foundation.

Holy Spirit High is having a Scholarship Information Session today (Friday, Sept 24th) at lunch in the AV Room).

Holy Spirit High students who ordered orange shirts can pick them up in the LRC today (September 24th) or Monday between 8:45-9 am and at lunch.

Roncalli Central High students interested in being a member of Senior Band can sign up outside the music room.

Any St Kevin's High students interested in joining the School Leadership Group, there will be a meeting today (September 24th) at lunchtime in Ms.Dodds room.

St Kevin's High students are reminded to sign-up for the school play, they need actors, set designers, prop managers, costume crew and backstage crew. The signup sheet can be found outside room 138.

Learys Brook Junior High music groups will be available for sign up this week. The signup sheets are next to the gym doors.
